The DFID-funded Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC) will be marking 10 years of poverty research with an international conference entitled Ten years of 'war against poverty: what have we learned since 2000 and what should we do 2010-2020?".
The conference will be held at the Brooks World Poverty Institute (BWPI) at the University of Manchester on 8-10 September 2010, just 2 weeks ahead of the meeting of the UN General Assembly which will review progress towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
