Objectives:
Cross sector Partnerships are being used by a number of aid agencies to address poverty reduction through the promotion of sustainable livelihoods. To date little research has been undertaken to identify whether these partnerships work in practice. This study identifies whether the concept and practice of CSPs in South Africa and Zambia actively address poverty eradication in a sustainable way. The lessons learned will be of use to governments and donor agencies in establishing similar models.
